COST PLANNING

Compare the whole cost.

A monthly software price is only part of a quote. Enter the amounts a vendor has given you to see how setup, hardware and recurring extras change the total. The calculator uses your inputs; it is not a vendor quote.

USE YOUR WRITTEN QUOTES

Your total-cost estimate

Enter quoted amounts to calculate a total.

No price increases, taxes, financing or transaction charges are added automatically. Figures remain on your device.

Get a line for each cost

Ask vendors to separate subscription, setup, conversion, training, hardware, additional stations or locations, optional modules and any minimum commitment. Confirm the currency, taxes and whether a displayed price is promotional.

Treat payment fees separately

Processing rates and per-transaction charges depend on your payment mix and volume. Include an estimated monthly amount in recurring extras if useful, but calculate it from your own written offer. The calculator does not automatically estimate transaction fees or taxes.

Look at the exit terms

Ask about cancellation notice, early-termination charges, data exports and the cost of retrieving old records. Also consider the staff time involved in changing a system. Document exclusions instead of treating unknown amounts as free.
