Information you choose to provide
The owner survey stores your selected answers, an optional software name, an optional comment and your publishing/research consent choices. It does not ask for your name or email. The contact form stores your topic, message, optional name and reply email. The updates form stores your email and permission choice. Do not submit customer records, identification documents, payment information or other people’s personal details.
Current service
Public submissions are saved in our protected inbox for review. Earlier development tests are kept separate and excluded from published research and mailing lists. Email updates and automatic confirmation messages have not started. Signing up records your interest and permission; it does not trigger an email.
How information is used
BuzzTransit LLC uses submissions to review questions and corrections, conduct owner research and maintain the updates interest list. We use a contact email only to handle that request unless you separately opt in to updates. Optional comment-publishing permission is separate from submitting survey answers. A comment is never published automatically.
Storage and access
Records are stored in the website’s hosted database. The operator can review them in a protected inbox and export them. The site runs through Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure, whose hosting and access services may process technical logs. We do not sell submitted contact information. Resend processes contact message contents and reply details to deliver a notification to the publisher’s Zoho mailbox. Service providers may process information to operate the website.
Spam protection and local storage
The form system uses a short-lived, same-site security cookie and a random session token. Network or sign-in information is transformed into a short-lived rate-limit key for abuse controls; the application does not store a raw IP address in submission records. Comparison selections and guide checkmarks are saved in your browser and can be reset or cleared with browser storage. Survey answers are kept in page memory until submission.
External services
Vendor links open third-party websites with their own privacy practices. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives ordinary browser requests for those assets. We use Metricool to measure visits, page views and referral sources on public pages. Its browser tracker sends the page URL, referring URL and browser window dimensions to Metricool, which also receives the network IP address needed for the connection. The tracker does not set analytics cookies and does not read form answers or contact messages. It is not loaded on the owner inbox or API pages. Hosting providers may still collect operational information.
Retention and requests
We retain submissions while needed to handle requests, maintain opted-in update records and support research, then delete or de-identify records that are no longer needed. Earlier development tests remain marked and are excluded from live research and mailing lists. Use the contact form with the Privacy request topic to ask about access, correction or deletion, or to withdraw a permission. Include your submission reference if you have one. We may need enough information to locate a record without exposing someone else’s data. The contact form is our current channel for these requests.
Changes
We will update this notice when introducing an email delivery service or materially different uses. This website is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children.
